New Beginnings

CYMERA_20171004_130204.jpg

Just a quick note before the reading. I shall be only doing a universal reading once a week. This is because it takes time, with the typing up the reading, editing and then posting can take around an hour and I am now getting busy as it’s that time of year 😊

If you would like a reading then by all means message me and I will give you details about my readings.

Now to the reading…

Reading….

We are now approaching the celtic pagans new year, Samhain. It is the final harvest and a time we remember our ancestors and loved ones past. A time when the veil is at it thinnest between our two worlds.

And because it is our new year it is when we say good bye to the old and welcome the new. A time if change and new beginnings as we see with the Daffodil of Rebirth & New Beginnings.

This is a time of joy when we can think of the path we walk and remember to be confident in our choices and have faith, which I see in the Rune of Laughter and the Rune of Faith. This path is one of new skills. Putting them to good use and making a living from these skills. It want ne a big living to start with. But I do see happiness and confidence.

An ability to take what you have and work with it in your favour, creating a happy home and a happy you. You enjoy what you do and everything will pan out as long as you keep faith in you and what you can do; which I see in the Two of Pentacles and the Ace of Pentacle. Balance, new skills and happiness.

This is all reflected in both the Rune of Protection and The Star. Both cards showing balance in our lives and things going well. With the rune it also shows you are protective of what you have. Of this life you so love, as you should be. Enjoy!

Your Comfort Zone

28th September 2017
Cards Used: Earth Magic Oracle, Botanical Inspirations and Woman’s Runes (visit Brigid’s Grove here to learn more about these beautiful runes)

Reading….

This particular deck doesn’t often get intuitively chosen and it makes for an interesting spread…

A phrase popped into my head as I looked at these cards. ‘Comfort Zone’ which is reflected in the Rune of Limitations and the Rune of Self. We are all like this to varying degrees. We fear the unknown. What effect doing something we wouldn’t normally do would have on our selves and our lives.

But sometimes in order to progress forward as a person we need to bite the bullet and try. I see a number of steps towards this. Firstly knowing what ‘it’ is. It maybe something quiet simple such as going out to parties and letting your hair down, when normally such things worry you and so you wouldn’t go. Or as extreme as doing a parachute jump. Only you know what ‘it’ is. What you need to do now is say it out loud and ‘do’ it as we see in the Rune of Naming.

Until you do this you are going to remain tetchy and filled with an energy that has no where to go. You need a release. A kind of an explosion so to speak. Once this has happened you will move forward and progress as an individual because you have done this. And it will bring an emotional and almost spiritual healing and a feeling of lightness.

In order to move and live we must be thankful of who we are. Celebrate in what ever way that is. Saying “see! This is me and this is who I am and how I live!”. But do be aware that this movement may take time. Rome wasn’t built in a day as we see from the card Elegance & Patience. So take your time. Don’t rush. But don’t leave it hanging either.

Working in Solitude

CYMERA_20170927_093430.jpg 27th September 2017
Cards Used: Tarot of the Old Path, Botanical Inspirations and Woman’s Runes

Reading….

Most people have an independent streak, though there are some who have it more than others. Here is see a feminine energy who prefers to work in solitude. She has a tender but determined heart with bags of patience. She can be fiery, but that is more with regards to her work ethics than her own personality. Even when everything seems as if it could fail she succeeds in keeping everything in balance.

She holds a sprig of mistletoe in her hands. This is a sign of obstacles. Things getting in your way. But she holds it with an air of calm. She doesn’t allow such things to phase her. And nor should you. Don’t ignore these obstacles. But face them head on and deal with them calmly and rationally. Regardless of what your endeavour is you will face such things. It is guaranteed. As is reflected in the Infinity Rune, it will always happen no matter how well you pay attention. Being all virtues about such things and saying it will be fine is all well and good, it will be ultimately your actions that speak for you rather than your words, as we see with the Majesty & Virtue card.

But you’re not completely alone. In the background there is a strong but calm man who keeps you close to his heart. He’s not a young man, nor is he old. Though this could be more about attitude than age. He works hard himself. But keeps a watchful eye over you too. He doesn’t wish you to over work yourself and to remember he is there for you. But equally well he want interfere.

Life is good and you are pretty happy with how things are as is reflected by the Rune of Ecstasy. Just don’t get too wound up in everything or you could lose sight of life around you.

Words and Whisper Oracle Reading

IMG_20170926_122530_595.jpg

26th September 2017
Type: General Universal Reading
Cards Used: Words and Whispers by Linda Ravenscroft, Botanical Inspirations and Woman’s Runes

Reading….
What beautiful cards. I really love these cards. There is growth, light…so much to see

As always the wheel has turned. Like light and darkness this is inevitable. It is never ending and something we cannot change. Much of life is starting to go to sleep ready for the long winter. And growth has pretty much ceased. But that doesn’t mean we should become dormant like the trees and small mammals. We can and should continue to grow.

You thrive on growth and are protective of this. This we can see with the Growth card and Rune of Protection. With the Rune of Laughter and Key To Your Heart we see that that growth and progress is the thing that brings joy into your life . And of course you will encounter bumps on the road. That is something we don’t always have control over. There is always light and darkness in life and like the wheel of the year will always continue to move in and out of your life. It’s part of life. You need to learn to look at the road ahead so you can see these bumps in the road. This is reflected in the card of Anticipation.

There will be times you will have no choice but to continue on that path. But you will be able to reduce the damage. Make it easier, if you have been paying attention and seen it coming. When this happens don’t wallow in self pity. Instead learn from this and try to avoid such bumps in the future.

End of reading….

P.S: I pulled one card from my new oracle deck Messages From Your Animal Spirit Guides and it was The Weasel. I had to laugh as it completely reflects the reading. It means you should keep an eye on the road ahead. Be silent. Pay attention and observe with your eyes and ears. Be observant of your surroundings!
